Interestingly, this year World Health Day theme: “How safe is your food? From farm to plate make food safe”. Hence the Department of Community health Nursing 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 College of Nursing have agreed to perform street play based on this year’s World Health day theme to create awareness among the general public regarding food safety. On 25th March 2015, the faculty of department of Community Health Nursing, II year PBBSc nursing students and the department of food safety and standard act Udupi district have organised street play at Kundapura near the bus stand form 6 pm to 6.45 pm. ?

The play commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Ventakesh, District food safety officer and he highlighted the purpose of the street play. In the street play, it was communicated to the general public on how food is contaminated, adulterated from farm to plate and its effects on health. The street play concluded with interactions (scripted) with the participants on various queries of general public, which was addressed by Dr. Shashidhara YN, HOD department of Community Health Nursing, Mrs Malathi G Nayak, Assistant professor and Mr. Venkatesh District food safety officer. The same street play will be performed at Karkala, on 26th April 2015 and in Udupi (near service bus stand) on 27th April 2015 between 5- 6pm. ?
