Report of Session on 'Promoting well-being by understanding core-values'
As part of 75 years of India's independence - Bharath ka Amrut Mahotsav - the Health and Social Welfare Committee of the Student Nurses Association, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 College of Nursing, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 organized a session on the topic, 'Promoting well-being by understanding core values’ for undergraduate students of 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 College of Nursing 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 on 28 April 2022 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Ms Shobhana Balasundaram, clinical psychologist, student support center, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 was the speaker for the session. Ms Shobhana discussed human values and their importance in life for one's wellbeing. She elaborated on understanding core values which are essential for human nature. The session made students reflect on the core values that they considered most important to them and how to translate the core values into action to impact wellbeing. Students were allowed to discuss and share their thoughts.
A total of 90 second year BSc Nursing students participated in the session. Ms Judy, extended a warm welcome to the speaker and introduced her to the gathering. Students were guided by Mrs Prima J J D'Souza, Assistant Professor from 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 College of Nursing.
