Immunization awareness session - guest task

As part of World Immunization Day 2024, the Department of Community Health Nursing, MCON, in association with the 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 Centre for Infectious Diseases Kasturba Medical College, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏, organised an awareness session on ‘Busting the myths about vaccination’ on November 12, 2024, at 2.30 pm.

The guest speaker for this session was Dr Akshata R, Assistant Professor, Department of Infectious Diseases. In her session, she addressed the importance of adult vaccination and lessons learnt from the COVID-19 infection. About 80 students and eight faculty attended this programme

This activity was coordinated by Dr Shashidhara Y N, Professor and Head, Department of Community Health Nursing MCON, and Dr Kavita Saravu, Professor and Unit Head, Department of Infectious Diseases, Coordinator MAC ID, KMC 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏. The programme was done under the guidance of Dr Judith A Noronha, Dean MCON, MAHE 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏. This programme is aligned with SDG 3 good health and well-being and SDG 4 Quality Education.
