To sensitize the final year students of MCON, an alumni guest lecture on the topic ‘Exploring new horizons: Unveiling career opportunities beyond nursing’ was organized by the Department of Child Health Nursing on 9th September 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Ms. Josily Gladin D’Souza, Senior Analyst, Accenture, Bengaluru (alumnus of MCON-BSc-N - 2009-2013 batch) explained the various opportunities for graduate nurses after graduation. The session included the details of opportunities for work in the hospital and IT industry with details of job requirements and skills required for each job. She also briefed them on the importance of preparing and updating a resume. The session was experience-driven and very informative. The session was conducted as onsite in the classroom of MCON and was attended by 120 students and three faculty members.?
