SEMINAR ON ‘UPDATES IN HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT"

The chief guest of the program was Dr. Ullas Kamath, Dean, MMMC, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏. Dr. Leena Sequira, Principal, MSON, MCON, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering. Dr.Judith A Noronha, Dean, MCON, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 addressed the participants with her motivational words and encouraged them to be better caregivers as well as to perceive higher education. The first session was on the Nurse's role in the administration of medication by Mrs. Sheela Shetty, Assistant Professor (Sr.scale), MCON, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏. She discussed on principles and routes of drug administration and also stressed medication errors and how to prevent errors while administering medications.

Dr.Anjaline D’Souza, Assistant Professor (selection grade), MCON, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 elaborated on Effective Communication in Health Care, which included channels of communication and appropriate communication etiquette to be followed while working in a health care facility. Legal and Ethical Issues in Patient Care were explained by Dr.Daisy Josphine Lobo, Associate Professor, MCON, MAHE, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏. She highlighted on code of ethics and legal duties of a critical care nurse and emphasized common ethical issues in patient care. Fifty-four students participated in the seminar.
