The Institutional Academic Reputation organised a faculty development program on Problem Based Learning. The resource person was Dr Prasanna Neelakantan from Hong Kong Dental School. He spoke on the basics of PBL, the best practices of implementing PBL at hong kong dental school , and also the possibilities and difficulties of implementing a PBL in the Indian Dental Curriculum. The program was attended by faculty representatives from all departments. This was followed by an engaging interactive session by Dr Prassana and Dr Supriya (Professor, Dept of Orthodontics, MCODS, Mangalore) in which a problem was discussed with the participants.
