The IDA Symposium was organised on 15th October 2019 by the Indian Dental Association Dakshin Kannada branch, in association with Cade Centre for Advanced Dental Education and 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore in Marena, Mangalore. The students of the different Dental colleges in Dakshin Kannada namely MCODS Mangalore, MCODS 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏, Yenepoya Dental College, A J Shetty Dental College, K V G Sulia, Srinivas Dental College and A B Shetty dental college participated. Many events such as Quiz, Spellathon, Collage, Soap carving, Poster presentation, Pot Pourri, Table clinic and Dental Olympics were conducted. There were 210 students who had participated in the Symposium. The events were judged by very renowned, knowledgable and talented judges whos’ expertise included not just Dentistry but also journalism, TV anchoring and graphic designing. All the participants showed a lot of enthusiasm and creativity in their respective events. The event was concluded with the Valedictory ceremony with the Chief Guest as Dr. Dilip G. Nayak, Dean MCODS Mangalore. The other guests were Dr. Karthik Shetty, Dr. Hemant, Dr. Nandita Shenoy and Dr. Imran. MCODS 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏, with their remarkable performance bagged the winners trophy. The winners of the various events conducted, were given certificates but as Dr. Dilip said “At the end of the day, dentistry won”.
