Department of Prosthodontics, MCODS, Mangalore conducted a continuing professional development programme on Eye for Implantolgy: Beginners workshop on 24^th July 2014 at Medical Education Hall, Light House Hill Road, KMC, Mangalore. ?Dr. Nakul Uppal enlightened the audience with Diagnosis and treatment planning and anatomic considerations along with demonstration of suture technique in Implantolgy. Dr. Mathi Joseph explained infection control methods, Dr Shobha Rodrigues on implant surgical protocol and demonstrated implant surgical kit. Dr. Umesh Pai on impression techniques in implantolgy and demonstrated closed and open tray impression techniques.

Following these talks and demonstrations, there was a hands on workshop for all the delegates on implant placement on mandibular models, suturing on models, and impression making with pentamix system
