The inaugural ceremony of the preconference courses of the 46th IPS national conference was held at MCODS, Mangalore. Dr. Dilip Naik, Dean, MCODS was the chief Guest and Dr. Kashinath ,President, Indian Prosthodontic Society was the Guest of Honour. The other dignitaries were Dr.Manoj Shetty, organizing secretary, 46th IPS National Conference and Dr.Sanath Shetty, Scientific Chairman, 46th IPS National Conference. Dr. Shobha Rodrigues, Head of Department, Prosthodontics, MCODS, welcomed the gathering and Dr. Umesh Pai, Preconference chairperson, 46th IPS Conference proposed the vote of thanks. 5 Preconference courses with a wide array of topics covering the contemporary topics of prosthodontics were conducted. Stalwarts like Dr.Mahesh Verma, Dr.Vivek Hegde, Dr.Rashmi Hegde, Dr.Rajesh Sethuraman and Dr.Amol Thorat conducted the various courses ranging from half day to full day lectures with Hands on.
