A Webinar was organised by the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology on May 7 2022, on the topic ‘Understanding Oral microbiota: A microbiologist’s perspective’. ?A total of 70 participants took part in the event. Dr Padmaja A Shenoy, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 was the resource person for the day. The talk focused on various issues and challenges in culturing the oral microbes, newer techniques and advancement in detecting oral anaerobic microbes, its association with systemic diseases. Dr Padmaja also highlighted the importance of research in microbiology. The program ended with good interactive session with participants.
