Continuing Dental Education Program on“Medical issues in Dentistry”

Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, MCODS, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 organized a half day Continuing Dental Education program “Medical issues in Dentistry” on 29^th?July 2015 at Dr T M A Pai Hall .?Dr Nirmala N Rao, Dean of MCODS, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 was the chief guest for the inaugural function. After a brief inaugural function, four lectures of 45 minutes duration each were delivered by eminent speakers. Dr Ranjan Shetty, Professor and Head, Dept of Cardiology, KMC, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 elaborated on?“Cardiac disorders- What a dentist must know”.?Dr Manjunath Prabhu, Professor, Dept of Anesthesiology, KMC, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 rendered an informative lecture on the topic?“Management of Chronic orofacial Pain”.?Dr Abhay Kamath, Professor and Head, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, MCODS, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 spoke about?“Antibiotics for Orofacial infections”.?Concluding session by Dr Chandrashekhar U K, Associate Professor, Dept of Medicine, KMC, 娱乐老虎机,森林舞会游戏 addressed the?“Considerations while prescribing drugs for dental ailments in medically compromised patients”?A total of 180 delegates including faculty, postgraduate students, interns and dental practitioners attended the programme. Karnataka State Dental Council awarded 2 Credit points to this programme.
