Dr Betsy S Thomas, Professor and Head, Department of Periodontology was awarded as the winner of the AOS 2013 Poster Competition, Perth, Western Australia for her poster on evaluation of the efficacy of titanium alloy implants coated by Ceramic Apatite Wollastonite and Hydroxyapatite by pulsed laser deposition. She was awarded a cash prize of 1000 Australian dollars by the Australasian Osseointegration Society. This paper was co-authored by Dr Manjeet Mapara and Dr K.M.Bhat.
